Sharp Law, PC primarily represents tenants in Landlord-Tenant matters, though we will represent landlords faced with unique circumstances and often consult with them to assist them in complying with the law.  


We are knowledgeable and serious about litigating civil lawsuits on behalf of tenants who have suffered injuries or economic harm from the actions or negligence of landlords. With recent changes in Oregon law, including state-wide rent control passed in Senate Bill 608, the stakes for both landlords and tenants have been raised and the law has become more complex, as several local ordinances in Portland (Portland City Code Section 30.01.085) and Milwaukie (Milwaukie Municipal Code 5.60)  affecting rents differ from the new state law.
